Mediation is when a third neutral person supports two people or groups of people to talk through a difficult situation.
It is an alternative to the usual adversarial court system. You can apply it to domestic relations, labour and employment relations, commercial, land and or business transactions.
Mediation is fast because there are no complicated rules and procedures like in the court system. You speak for yourselves because you know the problem best.
You preserve the relationship with the other party because you focus on the problem and solve it together.
It allows for resolutions that both of you agree on, as opposed to the winner takes all approach.
Mediation is far less costly than the Court process.
