Hon. Bart Magunda Katureebe is a renowned Ugandan legal expert and former Chief Justice of Uganda (2015-2020). With a career spanning over 40 years, he has held various prestigious positions, including Government Minister, Justice of the Supreme Court, and Principal State Attorney. Since his retirement, he has been appointed to international bodies, including the Committee of Experts of the International Commercial Court of China and the Steering Committee of the Standing International Forum of Commercial Courts. His extensive experience and expertise have made him a respected figure in the legal community.

Mrs. Birabwa-Nsubuga Christine

Birabwa-Nsubuga Christine is a co-founder and managing partner at Praxis Conflict Centre, with a strong background in human rights, peace, and justice. She holds multiple postgraduate diplomas and a Master’s in International Peace Studies from prestigious institutions worldwide. Christine has extensive experience in access to justice, governance, accountability, and anti-corruption efforts, gained through her work in government institutions, international NGOs, and as a consultant. With over 20 years of practice in mediation, arbitration, conflict transformation, and litigation, she brings invaluable expertise to Praxis Conflict Centre. Her education includes a Fulbright Scholarship and guest research positions at the Danish Centre for Human Rights and Human Rights Centre Uganda.
